Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a solar heater which economically performs heating in an energy conserving manner by installing a heater including a hollow and liquidtight box on the surface of the roof on the southern side of a house and supplying the air heated in the box through a duct and a suction fan into a room.
CONSTITUTION: On the front plate 2 of a box 1 having a proper width length and whose upper surface is opend, a plurality of ventilating pipes 3 are provided projecting and being allowed to communicate with each other. On the other hand, on the inner surface of the rear plate 5 a suction pipe 7 formed with a plurality of suction holes 6 is provided. To the central position of the suction pipe 7 a suction duct 8 is connected projecting outward from the front plate 2. Moreover, the inner surface of the box 1 is covered with a heat insulating material, on which a heat absorbing and insulating material 9 such as a black spongy substance is provided. Then, a transparent plate 10 of glass or the like is fitted on the upper surface of the box 1 to constitute a heater 13. Said heater 13 is mounted on the roof surface by using mounting metal fittings 11, and the air heated in the box 1 is supplied, by the operation of a suction fan 14, through the suction pipe 7 and the duct 8 into a room in order to perform heating.
