Abstract

PURPOSE:To decrease the number of transmission lines and thus to grasp luminance information precisely by a system wherein a luminance signal obtained through a multitude of light receiving units is transmitted to a display through one transmission line, and a mean luminance is calculated and displayed. CONSTITUTION:Pulse signals f1-f3 different in frequency are oscillated 1-3 according to a luminance received on light receiving elements P1-P3, gates A1-A3 are opened in sequence according to an output of the oscillator 1, and thus the pulse signals f1-f3 are transmitted through a transmission line l. The transmitted signals f1-f3 pass an inhibition gate I3, gates A4-A6 are opened in sequence according to an output of monostable multivibrators 6a-6c, the signals are counted on binary counters 11-13 and then displayed L1-L3. Then can be displayed precisely by changing the number of recursive operations for transmission of a luminance corresponding signal to the counters 11-13 in multiple order through switching operation of an change-over swtich 10 according to a degree of the luminance of a light to measure.
