Abstract
PURPOSE:To avoid delay by two seconds even when an error is detected by a method wherein the 1st correction pulse having a phase opposite to an ordinary driving pulse and the 2nd correction pulse having a phase same as the later ordinary driving pulse are employed. CONSTITUTION:An output of an oscillating unit 10 is frequency divided through a frequency dividing unit 11 and it is entered into a control unit 12 through a wave form composing unit 15. A control unit 12 supplies an ordinary driving pulse and a correction driving pulse to a driving detection unit 13 by means of a feedback signal from the driving detection unit 13. An output of the driving detection unit 13 is connected to both coil terminals of a step motor 14. The step motor 14 drives a indicating hand 17 through a wheel train 16. When a nonrotation of a rotor of the step motor 14 is detected, the control unit 12 outputs a correction pulse of a direction opposite to the ordinary driving pulse as the 1st correction pulse and following thereto, the 2nd correction pulse of a direction same as the ordinary driving pulse is outputted.
