Abstract
PURPOSE:To measure an insulation resistance safely and surely by a method wherein two resistors having different resistance values and being feasible to change-over are inserted between an earthing pole and a measuring point which is in use or is applied with voltage and a leak voltage is measured. CONSTITUTION:A circuit wherein a voltmeter V is in parallel connected to a parallel circuit of change-over feasible substitution resistors R1, R2, is connected at an optional point between an power source E1 and a load L and this circuit is earthed. At this time, the substitution resistors R1 and R2 shall have different resistance values respectively. The leak voltate at this time is measured through a voltmeter V1 and based on the actual voltage, a deviation value is operated and an actual resistance value of the insulated resistor can be determined by a conversion curve.
