Abstract

PURPOSE:To shorten valve closing time by supplying control oil into a chamber on the other side of an oil-cylinder piston when emergency oil is lost, in a system wherein the main steam stop valve is opened in an emergency while eliminating the emergency oil which is fed into an oil cylinder for the valve. CONSTITUTION:When the main steam stop valve 100 is opened, the emergency oil E is fed to a relay damper pilot 10, the pilot 10 is moved leftward by regulating the areas of discs 10a, 10b and a conical disc 10d is contacted to an oil-cylinder main body 7. In this condition, the control oil C is fed into a space 12 at the lower part of the oil-cylinder piston 5, and a valve 3 is opened through a lever 6 and the like. Then, when the emergency oil fed into the pilot 10 is lost, the pilot 10 is pushed rightward and leftward. Accordingly, the control coil C in the space 12 flows out into a drain space 11a through a port 22 and is fed through ports 21, 24 to the drain side 11 of the piston 5, whereby the valve 3 is closed rapidly.
