Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the productivity and quality of a motor by using a transfer tool and inserting a number of coils into slots at the same time and fixing the coils. CONSTITUTION:The coils 1 and 1' are radially inserted in a transfer tool 4 to which a coil pushing plate 5 is provided. When the motor 6 is driven, a supporting table 7 is inverted and the coils 1 and 1' and the tool 4 are arranged over a stator core 2 in the axial direction. Then, an air cylinder 8 is driven to lower blades 4-1 until the blades just contact with the core 2. The pushing plate 5 of the tool is pushed by a rod 10 against the force of a spring 9, and the coils 1 and 1' which are located in the blades 4-1 are pushed to the slots of the core 2, and inserted into the slot. The coils 1 and 1' are conducted and heated under the state the coils are pushed by the pushing plate 5, and fixed. When the coils have been fixed, the pushing plate 5 and the tool 4 are returned to the original standby position. In this method, the productivity and the quality of the motor can be improved.
