Abstract
PURPOSE: To decrease the settling time so as to reduce the energy loss and to correct quickly the disturbance, by adjusting the charge of the raw material to a distillation column through detection of the column temp. at a place near the pinch point and of energy quantity charged to the reboiler during constant operation.
CONSTITUTION: The temp. detected at a point A near the pinch point in a distillation column 1 is fed through a signal line (a), and the energy quantity supplied to the revoiler 4 of a steam flow meter 13 is fed through a signal line (b), both to a controller 10. The command from the controller 10 regulates a valve 3 through a signal line (c) so as to adjust the charge of the raw material and to correct the temp. of the column 1. The high-boiling distillate obtained is charged 30 as raw material to a distillation column 2. As to the column 2, the quantity of steam supplied from a reboiler 16 is kept constant by the control of a control valve 17 through detection of the information of a steam flow meter 25, and by feeding the information through signal lines (i), (n) to the control valve 17. The charge of the high- boiling distillate of the column 1 to the column 2 is regulated, as with the raw material to the column 1, by feeding the temp. detected at a point A' near the pinch point through a signal line (h) to a controller 22, and by feeding the energy quantity supplied to a revoiler 16 through the line (i) to the controller 22, and by adjusting a valve 15 by means of the command given from the controller 22 through a signal line (j).
