Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a standard sample having an easily stable and desired optical characteristic and simple in handling by using an optical filter having optical characteristic corresponding to an absorbing spectrum of material to measured. CONSTITUTION:As a standard sample of a light absorbing type analytical device for determining the physical amount of the material to be mesured based on an absorbing spectrum, sample containing an optical filter provided with optical characteristic corresponding to the absorbing spectrum of the material to be measured is employed. For example, a moisture meter using said standard sample is constructed by a light source LP, a filter plate FP, a standard sample SPL, a detector DT, lenses L1, L2. Then, output light of the light source LP is incident to the standard sample SPL through the lens L1 and the filter plate FP, and the light passing through the standard sample SPL is photo-detected by the detector DT through the lens L2 to convert it into an electric signal.
