Abstract

PURPOSE: To safely and surely stop a pallet which is moved while put on a chain, by providing a stopper to stop the pallet and energizing the stopper by a spring in the opposite direction to conveyance.
CONSTITUTION: A positioning pin 41 and a spindle 42 are provided on one side of a pallet 40, which is transferred while placed on a conveyor chain. A stopping means, which is provided at a station for working a piece on the pallet, is made of a block 10 which is rocked through a horizontal shaft on a base 1 toward the pallet by a cylinder 100. A stopper claw 20 is supported on the block 10. The claw 20 is energized clockwise by a spring 22 through a pulley 23 so that the pallet can be stopped without strain. In work, the spindle 42 is pushed on the slope 20b of the claw 20 to separate the pallet from a driving chain.
