Abstract
PURPOSE: To treat water with good efficiency as well as miniaturize treatment tank by using system in which concentrated activated sludge is supplied from a centrifugal separator to a high-concentration activated sludge treatement tank.
CONSTITUTION: The treated water from the treatment tank 7 is directly taken out to the defoaming tank 9 provided with the supersonic wave irradiator 8, where defoaming treatment is made by the degassing of dissolved gas and the coarsening of small-diameter bubbles. The treated water is directly supplied to the centrifugal separator 10, the filtrate is directed through the discharge part 11 to the after treatment process 12, and a part of concentrated activated sludge separated by centrifuge is recycled through the return pipe 4 to the treatment tank 7 by the pump P1. Biological treatment is performed with high-concentration activated sludge in the treatment tank 7 and residual concentrated activated sludge is discharged to the treatment apparatus 13 for self-digestion and incineration.
