PURPOSE:To obtain a sequence circuit with function generation simplified by composing an array decision part, which generates an array input on the basis of an external arrival input and inside state, initial state setting part, output decision part, etc., of programmable logical elements. CONSTITUTION:Binary inputs U1...Um and binary states X1...Xn are inputted to array input decision part 401 generating array inputs from an external circuit. According to a logical function, decision part 401 generates and input binary array inputs W1...Wl to FF array 402. By control input C from the outside, initial state setting part 403 sets intitial states X(0)...Xn(0) of FF array 402 and inputs them to FF array 402. According to the logical function, FF array 402 outputs states X1...Xn to output decision part 404. According to the logical function, decision part 404 outputs binary outputs Y1...Yk by external inputs U1...Um and internal states X1...Xn. Decision parts 401 and 404, and setting part 403 use logical elements such as programmable logic arrays PLA, PROM and RAM, so that various function constitution can be attained easily.
