Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain such windmill turbine as is capable of preventing overspeed revolutions of a wind force extractor by providing a positive-displacement oil hydraulic pump driven by a rotary output shaft of the wind force extractor and a pressure compensating flow control valve arranged on the discharge line.
CONSTITUTION: Where a windmill 1 is rotated by wind, a windmill shaft 1" turns in a housing 1''', and a bevel gear 1' is driven to rotate. An input shaft 2 then turns through a bevel gear 2', and an oil hydraulic pump 3 coupled to its bottom is driven to rotate. Then, when passing an orifice 21, an oil pressurized by the pump 3 brings about a pressure loss to rise in temperature, which is stored in an underground tank 24 by way of a pressure compensating flow control valve 22 and a radiator 23. On the other hand, revolutions of the windmill 1 are transferred to a pinion 6 through a spur gear 5 integral with a rotary holder 4, a reversible oil hydraulic pump 8 is driven to rotate by a pinion shaft 7, thus preventing a quick turn of the windmill 1.
