Abstract

PURPOSE: To efficiently test a plurality of batteries for discharge without interruption and without letting any of the batteries overdischarge, by setting a reference voltage to a suitable anti-overdischarge voltage.
CONSTITUTION: When a battery E1 discharges and gradually decreases in voltage to attain an overdischarge voltage, an output from a comparison amplifier CMP1 is turned to a lower level to allow a transistor Q1, which forms a change-over circuit in the following stage, to be turned on, and to allow an electric current to flow to a set coil a on an unreset relay RL1. As a result, the battery E1 is separated from the discharge circuit to be put into a no-load state. An input into a conversion circuit is short-circuited by a change-over switch l1. An output from the comparison amplifier CMP1 attains a high level again so that discharge test for the remaining batteries is carried out continuously without interruption.
