Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a uniform temperature distribution at a thermal type head and eliminate irregular printing by the thermal type head by disposing a dot-like heater having a continuous heater with wide central width formed in zigzag shape between energizing lead wires of a plurality of dot-like heating elements. CONSTITUTION:A thermal type head incorporates a plurality of dot-like heating elements so disposed that the central elements 3 have wider in its width than the outside elements to thereby incorporate lower resistance as much than the outside elements. The central elements thus procude lower heat than the outside elements, however since the central elements are affected by the heat produced by the outside elements, this head eventually provides a uniform temperature distribution and eliminates the irregular printing at the respective dots thus printed.
