Abstract

PURPOSE: An alkylene oxide is added to a polyethyleneimine with a specific molecular weight, thus producing said polyol with high molecular weight and hydroxyl value, which shows remarkably increased physical properties, hardness and dimensional stability when used as raw material for polyurethane.
CONSTITUTION: An alkylene oxide as propylene or ethylene oxide is added to a plyethyleneimine with a molecular weigt of 400W100,000 or to a mixture of polyethyleneimine with a compound with active hydrogens as polyetherpolyol to form a polyethyleneiminealkylene oxide adduct. Said polyol for polyurethans contains the product and has a hydroxyl value of 20W800.
