Abstract

PURPOSE: The use of a polyol containing polyethyleneimine-alkylene oxide adduct produces title low-density polyurethane foam with increased dimensional stability and reduced deterioration in physical properties.
CONSTITUTION: An alkylene oxide is added to a mixture of (a) a polyethylene- imine of 400W100,000, preferably 1,000W60,000 molecular weight and (b) preferably a compound bearing actve hydrogen atoms as polyhydric alcohol or polyether polyol. The resulting polyol containing polyethyleneimine-alkylene oxide adduct and having 20W300 hydroxyl value is made to react with an isocyanate component mainly containing compounds with at least two isocyanate groups.
