Abstract
PURPOSE: To detect easily and revise surely dents or flaws of the surface of the material to be coated and to improve the quality of coating face and also to prevent the obstruction of flowing of the material to be coated, by washing with mixed solution of fat removing agent and brightener before carrying out coating pretreatment process of motor car body, etc.
CONSTITUTION: Sheet metal surface of car body etc. is washed by using mixed solution of fat removing agent, brightener, etc. and dust, oil etc. are removed and also polish is increased. Hereby, the surface flaw or badness of the sheet metal, is judged precisely and revision is carried out immediately. Next, the above sheet metal is sent to the pretreatment process and fat removing, water washing, coating chemical treatment, water washing etc., are carried out and then, is carried to the electrodeposition coating process. The revision after finishing coating is made unnecessary by giving the preliminary washing process as the above method and lowering of quality of coating film is prevented.
