Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an object having flat or complex bottom with constant thickness coating layer uniform at coating boundary in fluidized bed coating operation, powder box is tilted to a proper angle to cause powder top layer to flow horizontally.
CONSTITUTION: Air or some other gas flows from the inlet 7 to suspend powder 4 placed on the filter 2. The vibrator 6 oscillates the bath 1. The motor rotates the eccentric cam 12 at a proper speed, which vertically reciprocates the edge of tha bath 1. The tilting motion of the bath 1 causes powder to move, forming uniform, horizontal top powder layer reciprocal movement. At the same time, the flow rate is adjusted to such powder movement. Then, the object 10 to be coated is dipped into the powder folw, providing a constannt thickness coating layer unifom at coating boundary.
