Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve pressure fixability and heat fixability and obtain high image densities by adsorbing carbon black having the specific characteristics as conductive fine power on the surfaces of the resin particles containing coloring agents.
CONSTITUTION: Conductive fine powder of carbon black having been controlled to mean particle size 25mμ or more, volatile matter 2.5wt% or less and DBP oil absorption 150cc/100g or less is mixed at about 10wt% or less in the resin particles nuclei containing coloring agents and the mixture is shaked to allow the carbon black particles to adsorp or deposit on the resin particle surfaces. The conductive toner for electrostatic printing thus prepared may be effectively and safely applied to high-speed printing and exhibits good shelf life.
