Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a high-efficiency speaker with improved resistance to input, by continuously cooling heat produced by a voice coil by a filling fluid. CONSTITUTION:Two internal and external spaces 17a and 17b formed of yoke members 11, and 14-16 of a magnetic material, center pole 1, voice coil bobbin 5, and plate 3 are filled with cooling fluid 18. Here, movable bobbin 5 is sealed by magnetic liquid 13 obtained by dispersing iron into oil which never mixes with fluid 18 in spaces of members 14 and 16 and bobbin 5, and voice coil 4 is positioned in space 17b without meeting members 15 and 16. As a result, coil 4 is driven in fluid 18 in spaces 17a and 17b; and a large input of heat is cooled by fluid 18 and cooling effect is maintained by the convection of the fluid. Consequently, a high-e-ficiency speaker with high resistance to input can be obtained.
