Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the miniaturized photo switching device of easy adjustment of optical system by disposing secondary side optical transmission fibers on a circumference with a primary side optical transmission fiber as a center and disposing the optical transmission fibers on the primary and secondary side on the same substrate. CONSTITUTION:The respective incident end faces of plural secondary side optical transmission fibers 22, 23, 24, 25 are disposed on the same circumference, with the exit ligh axis from the primary side optical transmission fiber 21 as a center. Lenses 26, 27, 28, 29, 30 are disposed in parallel with the end faces of the respective optical transmission fibers by leaving the specified distance. In addition, an optical path diffracting means, e.g., a rectangular prism 31 of two equal sides is disposed in opposition to the stationary block 32. By rotating the rectangular prism 31 by a rotary driving part 33, the signal light emitted from the optical transmission fiber 21 is angle-controlled so that the incident light axis is aligned to the incident end of the desired optical transmission fiber out of the secondary side optical transmission fibers 22, 23, 24, 25, whereby the transmission optical part may be selectively changed over.
