Abstract
PURPOSE:To produce the surface treated plate which prevents seizure, galling, etc. which may be produced between working jig and blank at the cold rolling by coating phosphorus compound on the steel plate surfaces and heating the same to above the specified temperature in a non-oxidative atmosphere with dew point being made at 0 deg.C or under in order to keep the water contents in the annealing atmosphere low. CONSTITUTION:A phosphorus compound (e.g.; ammonium phosphate) is coated in aqueous solution form on steel plate surfaces so as to become 0.1 to 5.0mg/dm<2> as P, then the steel plate is heated in a non-oxidative atmosphere such as of N2, H2, etc. wherein atmosphere dew point is made 0 deg.C or under. Here, if the treatment is done by setting the heating temperature at 200 deg.C or higher and the heating time at a short time of 3 minutes or shorter and particularly 3 seconds or shorter. When the non-oxidative atmosphere contains H2, there is a need for suppressing the reduction of phosphorus compound as far as possible by making the partial pressure ratio of H2O/P at 1.0 or under and particularly 0.1 or under.
