Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent arc spark produced between supporting shafts and the object to be plated by injecting the solution of the same quantity as that of the bath solution in each cell to the supporting shafts or the object to be plated.
CONSTITUTION: The coil-from object A to be plated is passed onto supporting shafts 11 and are thereby suspended. As the supporting shafts 11 revolve, the object A to be plated spirally advance while making slide contact with each bath wall 2 and pitch guides 13, thereby subsequently pass through pretreating cells 3 thru 6 and plating cells 7. when voltage is applied between carbon contactors 12 and copper anodes 10 and the respective solutions are injected from bath injecting nozzles 15 to the supporting shafts 11, electrical conduction state between the supporting shafts 11 and the object A to be plated becomes good and the generation of arc spark is thereby prevented. The entry of the bath solution deposited on the supporting shafts into the other cells is prevented by the partition parts 16 provided to the supporting shafts 11.
