Electrolytic apparatus for completely automatic deposition of metal coatings, comprising a polygonal drum with two openings a trough, and more esp. having an insulating e.g. plastic, shell and an angle iron spiral fixed to the interior. Appts. eliminates the manual work still involved in charging and discharging automatic electro plating units of the usual type.
