CONSTITUTION:A printing plate is made by coating and drying on a metallic plate, such as aluminum or zinc, or on a metallic support layer, such as metal vapor deposited plastic film, a mixture consisting mainly of a polymer, such as phenolic resin or ethylene type ionomer resin (a), and a wax, such as paraffin wax or colophonium (b), (a binder, pigments, etc., may be added to them).
