Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate zigzag arrangement of nozzles and enhance nozzle density by arranging nozzle plates and vibration plates alternately and fixing them in layer in slanted condition. CONSTITUTION:There are three kinds of nozzle plates 1. Each of the plates 1 is formed with four ink feed holes 2, and nozzles 3 communicated with the holes 2 are formed in the same positions as the holes 2 and opened on one side. Three kinds of the plates 1 have ink feed holes 9 to be in register with the holes 2. The plates 1 and the plates 7 are alternately layered in slanted condition, to form a head plate unit 10. By this, all the nozzles 3 are arranged zigzag, nozzle density can be largely enhanced, and the number of nozzles formed in one nozzle plate is reduced, so that the unit 10 can be produced in high yield with its structure simplified.
