Abstract
PURPOSE: To carry out the operation certainly and safely and to enable the use in the filtering of a viscous fluid by a mechanism wherein a hammer blow apparatus is provided between a screw shaft driving a scraper for scraping filtered substance along a filter and an air motor.
CONSTITUTION: If substances to be filtered out such as fine particulate soil, sand, ore, scale, metal segments, sludge or the like are contained in a fluid entered from an inlet 12, filtered substances 33 are deposited on a filter 9 to prevent a fluit passage. In this time, the pressure before and behind a filter is detected by a pressure difference detector and if the detected pressure difference becomes above a predetermined value, a relay valve is operated to supply a compressed air to an air arranged pipe 15 from a compressed air source. When the rotation of an air motor 3 is started, a pinion gear 22 and a large gear 22 is rotated. Because a hammer flow apparatus is provided between an air motor 3 and a screw shaft 6, a small air motor can be used even if static friction coefficient of a filter 9 and a scraper 7 is large and a strong starting torque is needed.
