Abstract
PURPOSE:To realize a quick and simple adjustment for the light transmission line using the optical fiber by inserting the reflector into the optical passive circuit. CONSTITUTION:The light sent from light source LS is put into optical fiber F1 via half mirror HM, and the light transmitted through the optical fiber is led to optical passive circuit LPC such as the lens or the like. In this case, the luminous flux which is reduced down to half through mirror HM is detected through detector DET, and thus the value indicated by meter MR is read out. Then reflector M is put at center position CN of the equivalent optical system system like circuit LPC or the like and vertically to the optical axis to reflect toward detector luminous flux. The luminous flux is then reflected again entirely toward detector DET by mirror HM and via fiber F1, and thus the reading of meter MR redoubles. In this case, distance d1 is adjusted between F1 and circuit LPC in order to secure the maximum reading of the meter. As a result, optimum distance d0 can be obtained.
