Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain excellent coupling and compact sizes; by opening windows for winding wires, in a plurality of silicon steel plates with the same configuration and dimensions; by forming two E-shaped plates by cutting the long sides of the windows; by providing coupling grooves in opposing two legs; and by combining the plates as one coupled body after winding.
CONSTITUTION: Two rectangular through holes 2 and 3 are punched through a single silicon-steel plate 1. Wire is wound around required number of the laminated plates. The individual plates have an identical shape and dimensions. The single plate 1 is cut into two portions so as to separate the long sides of the through holes 2 and 3 at the centers thereof, and E-shaped plates 1a and 1b are obtained. Then, opening holes 5a and 6a having wider bottom portions 5b and 6b are provided in opposing leg portions of the E-shaped plates 1a and 1b. When 5a and 6a are aligned, a coupling groove through which a coupling body 7 is inserted is formed. After a plurality of the single plates 1 are laminated, the coupling plate 7, which comprises a flat portion 7a and cylindrical portion 7b, and has the same configuration as that of the coupling groove is inserted into the groove, thereby the E-shaped plates 1a and 1b are fixed after the coil has been wound.
