Abstract

1426419 Inductors and transformers CHEW SENG KOH 6 Aug 1974 34692/74 Heading HIT The core of a choke, reactor or transformers has two stacks of laminations bent to provide parallel short and long limbs E, G, joined by a base F, the stacks being juxtaposed with the short limbs E juxtaposed and the long limbs G on opposite sides of the juxtaposed short limbs, and a further stack B of laminations in line with the short limbs E so that the short limbs and the stack B constitute a central limb between and parallel to the long limbs G. The stack B may have its laminations at rightangles to or in the same plane as those in limbs E, and the upper short limbs H are in contact with the laminations of B. The limbs E may be in contact with the stack B or there may be a linear or V-shaped (Fig. 5, not shown) gap I. Further laminations (K) or (L), Figs. 6 and 7 (not shown), may also be provided at right angles to the stack B.
