Abstract
PURPOSE: To detect the liquid level with a means of simple structure safely by fitting an shading body on the upper part of the float and by cutting off the light beam in the optical fiber with the shading body by floating the float.
CONSTITUTION: When the level of liquid 12 rises, the float 4 is floated along the cylinder 3, the shading rod 5 projected on the float is inserted into the slit 6, it passes through the opening 7 of the optical fiber and cuts off the light beam that leads from the fiber 1 to the other one 2. Accordingly the rise of liquid level can be detected since the beam from the light projector 14 is not reached the light receiver 15. The device is simple in structure and is very safe on account of no electrification and no leak.
