Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate recognition of consumed condition of a cell by simple constitution by connecting a series circuit of a condenser and a neon lamp in parallel to a primary coil of a transformer to effect igniting discharges.
CONSTITUTION: A cathode of a diode 6 is connected to an end of a primary coil of a boosting transformer 7 or a terminal d of a transducer 3. A free foil diode 8 is connected to the diode 6 in antiparallel. One end of a condenser 5 is connected to the other end of the primary coil of the transformer 7 and one end of a condenser 9, while the other end of the condenser 9 is connected to one end of the primary coil of the transformer 7 through a neon lamp 14. A secondary coil of the condenser 7 is connected to discharging electrodes of an igniting unit 10.
