Abstract

PURPOSE: To collect light and heat from solar energy always at high efficiency, by constituting an airtight casing including a photo receptor, and circulating the internal air in the casing through a water tank.
CONSTITUTION: An airtight casing is constituted with a lens system 1, a photoreceptor, and a supporting body 3, and the air inside the casing is sucked by a pump 4 and circulated in the casing through a water tank 5. Therefore, the solar energy not introduced into the photoreceptor 2 is changed to a thermal energy, which is accumulated in the casing to increase the air temperature in the casing. The thermal energy collected in the air is carried into the water tank 5 to become air bubbles, which pass through the water tank, thereby increasing the water temperature in the water tank 5. The water thus warmed is passed through a hot water supply pipe 8, and is used either directly or after being once collected in a tank for various purposes.
