Abstract
PURPOSE: To avert distortion by thermal expansion and obtain the conductive optical guide having sufficient strength by subsequently laminating an optical guide, buffer layer and conductive layer and letting the coefficient of thermal expansion of the buffer layer be the value of the intermediate of the coefficients of thermal expansion of the optical guide and conductive layer.
CONSTITUTION: A buffer layer 2 using the alloy for buffer having the coefficient of thermal expansion of the intermediate value of the coefficients of thermal expansion of the optical guide and conductive layer (Ni-Fe alloy, Ni-Co-Fe alloy, Co- Fe-Cr alloy, etc.) is formed on a condensing type potical fiber (optical guide) 1 of quartz glass base and further a metal layer 3 composed of aluminum, nickel or copper is provided thereon, whereby the conductive optical guide is obtained.
