Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the accompanying air eddy current due to the draft roller ratation and to eliminate the roller lapping, breakage, and uneven fiber quality, by means of a baffle plate equipped near the continuous tow transfer surface of the apron belt. CONSTITUTION:The baffle plate 5 is equipped between the delivery rollers 1 and 1' and a pair of draft rollers 2 and 2' and near the transfer surface 4a of the continuous tow T of the apron belt 4. The continuous filament tow T is fed by the rollers 1 and 1' and stretch-broken by the rollers 1, 1' and 2, 2'. The cut tow T is wound by the winder 9 via the aspirator 6 and the air turbulent nozzle 7.
