Abstract

PURPOSE: To easily obtain a gasified fuel and attain a complete combustion with a gasification block provided in a gasification chamber in which a fuel oil is gasified, and with hot air produced in a combustion chamber and introduced into the gasification chamber.
CONSTITUTION: When kerosene is supplied from a kerosene tank 9 into a gasification chamber 3, it is sucked into a porous gasification block 7. When air is then introduced into this combustion device through a pipe 21, it flows through a heat exchanger 19 and a hot air supply pipe 8 into the gasification chamber 3. The air then flows through horizontal bores 7b and vertical bores 7a in the gasification block 7 to come into contact with the kerosene, which is thereby gasified. The gasified fuel, which has a predetermined air/fuel ratio, is turned via a partition plate 12 and a mixer 13. The gasified fuel is then ignited at openings 15 in a combustion chamber 5 so as to be burnt. A combustion waste gas is discharged to the atmosphere after it has been used to heat in a heat exchange chamber 6 the air flowing from the pipe 21 to be passed through a heat exchanger 19.
