Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent generation of waving at the grip of the steel sheet pile, in case of straightening the upward camber and side bend of the steel sheet pile, by installing the lower roll possessing the face contacting with whole height of inner face of the arm of the steel sheet pile, and the specified lower roll.

CONSTITUTION: This roller leveler is constituted of the upper roll 9 and the lower roll 15. The upper roll 9 is constituted of the upper side rolls 10a, 10b, contacting with the outer face of the arm 61 of the steel sheet pile 6, the upper and middle rolls 11a, 11b, on both sides contacting with outer face of the parallel portion 62 of the pile 6, the spacer 12 for giving the gap to the rolls 10a, 11a, and the rolls 10b, 11b, and the spacer 13 being built in outside of the roll 11b. The lower roll 15 is constituted of the taper face 161 contacting with whole height of inner face of the arm 61 of the steel sheet pile 6, the lower rolls 16a, 16b, possessing the face 162 contacting with inner face of the parallel portion 62 ranging from the boundary between the parallel portion 62 and the arm 61 to the midst of the parallel portion 62, the grip side rolls 17a, 17b, contacting with the outer side plane of the grip 63 of the pile 6, and the spacers 18a, 18b, built in for the purpose of keeping the gaps of the rolls 16a, 16b, and the rolls 17a, 17b.
