Abstract

CONSTITUTION: If an earthquake occurs, a weight 1 falls down to detach a latch 2, and a working rod 5 and adjusting spring 13 are moved back by an equalizing spring 14 and the function of adjusting spring is lost. A valve 9 is turned round a fulcrum 11 due to the equalizing spring 14 and an inlet 10 of high pressure gas is closed. As for the reducing mechanism, gas from the inlet 10 flows in an adjusting chamber 18 and flows out an outlet 16. As the pressure in the chamber 18 rises, the adjusting spring 13 forces a push valve 9 to throttle the inlet 10.
