Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the control accuracy of distribution of furnace top charging material, by providing plural thermocouples in radius direction of blast furnace top part and calculating the gas flowing amount and layer thickness of specified charging material by a specified formula from measured value of furnace top temperature change at every throwing of the charging material.
CONSTITUTION: The thickness Z of charging coke and ore layer and the gas flowing amount Gg, are measured more accurately than usual method from the measured value T-g of temperature change at every throwing of charging material measured by the thermocouple provided at a fixed place by the formula [x=ha*/Cg(z/Gg), y=ha*/CsρS(r), T; time, Hr, Z; layer thickness m, Cs; solid specific heat KCal/ kg°C, Cg; gas specific heat KCal/Nm3°C, ρS; solid layer density kg/cm2, Gg; gas flowing amount Nm3/m2-Hr, h; heat transfer coefficient KCal/m2Hr°C, a*; specific surface area m2/m3, Ts; solid temperature °C, Tg; gas temperature °C, condition; gas flowing distribution at the time of throwing in coke and ore, is approximately constant, inlet gas temperature of each charging material layer; constant, total thickness of each charging material layer; constant in radius direction].
