Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent malfunction due to generation of several error synchronizing signals by using counters and NAND gate.
CONSTITUTION: Synchronous extraction circuit 15 is connected to counters 11 and 12 equipped with preset teminals 16 and 16' through NAND gate 13 and inverter 14. then counters 11 and 12 are preset to value (a) a little bit smaller than a synchronous pattern generating period. Consequently, counters 11 and 12, when counting regenerated clock signals E to number (a), generate carry pulse H2 to put one gate of NAND gate 13 in an ON state and pulse (l), generated when there is a string of pulses agreeing with a (m)-bit synchronous pattern in a string of regenerated pulses, is inputted from synchronizing signal extraction circuit 15 to the other gate of NAND gate 13. Consequently, pulse K appears at the output of NAND gate 13 and counters 11 and 12 are initialized, generating no carry pulse H2. Therefore, malfunction is prevented even if a pattern equivalent to the string of synchronizing signal pulses resides in sound or music information.
