Abstract

PURPOSE:To generate atomized plasticizer particles with uniform diameter by evaporating plasticizer [dioctyl phthalate(DOP hereinafter)] mixed with inert gas, mixing it with heated air and then blowing out into the air flow for air filter performance test. CONSTITUTION:After adjusting inert gas from a supplier 4 to a constant pressure through a regurator 6, a part of the inert gas is fed into a tank 1 under pressure to pressurize the interior of the tank 1 and flow out DOP liquid within the tank 1 through a tube 3. Flowed out DOP liquid is mixed with the residual inert gas in a chamber 7 and then fed into an evaporator 8 via a tube 9. DOP liquid in the above mixture is evaporated and introduced to a mixing tube 13 via a tube 14. Within the tube 13, DOP evaporated gas is mixed with heated air flow with the predetermined flow rate and temperature, and then blown out into the air flow for air filter performance test at the room temperature within a duct 22. By so doing, DOP evaporated gas is widely dispersed and condensed in the above air flow, and changed into infinite number of dispersed atomized particles with uniform diameter.
