Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an arrangement for rotary piston engine, in which a main suction port and a supercharging port are opened in the housing in the manner that they are located adjacently to each other and the said supercharging port is designed to open when the main suction port is closed, so as to produce turbulence in combustion chamber, whereby it is enabled to improve combustibility of mixture.
CONSTITUTION: Rotor 4 is turned in casing 1 consisting of the rotor and side housing 2, 3. Main suction port 6 and supercharging port 13 are opened in the side housing 3 in the manner that they are located adjacently to each other. The suction port 6 is communicated to intake passage 9 for supplying ordinary mixture, whereas supercharging port 13 is communicated to air pump 14 via supercharging port 15 having timing valve 17 and surge tank 16. Here, arrangement is such that said timing valve 17 is opened when the intake passage 9 is closed by rotor 4, for introducing supercharged air instantaneously into casing 1.
