Abstract
PURPOSE: To conduct cooking rationally and economically by providing a gas burner portion and an electric heater portion and setting the top end of the buener portion lower than the heater portion.
CONSTITUTION: An electric heating portion 2 is so arranged that it surrounds a central gas burner 1, and its top end is higher than the burner 1. The heating portion 2 comprises a sheathed heater 6 incorporated in a heating plate 5 along the whloe periphery of the latter. The top face of the plate 5 is formed with vent grooves. By this constitution, the use of the burner 1 in the beginning stage upon ignition causes the flame to contact a heated body directly, and energy loss due to preheating by the electric heating portion 2 or the sheathed heater 6 is reduced, improving efficiency. As the fitting position of the gas burner 1 is lower than the heating portion 2, the flame of the burner 1 touches just the heated surface of the heated body instead of directly touching the electric heater, which rather serves to preheat the heater.
