Abstract

PURPOSE: To grill an object to be cooked until the surface gets burned by arranging a heat collector, which is composed of one kind of an iron material at least selected out of groups composed of iron, cast iron and iron alloy, on the surface of main body of a cooking instrument made of pottery. CONSTITUTION: Concerning a cooking instrument 10, a heat collector 2 composed of one kind of an iron material at least selected out of the groups composed of iron, cast iron and iron alloy is arranged on one side surface or inside surface of a main body 1 of the cooking instrument made of pottery. The main body 1 of cooking instrument can be formed from a material such as a ceramic material or a porcelain material. The heat collector 1 adopts a grid-shaped, square-shaped, mesh-shaped, plate- shaped or layer-shaped form. When the cooking instrument 10 is heated by a heating means, the object to be cooked is heated to the inside by heat radiated from the main body 1 of cooking instrument made of pottery, and grilled soft. On the other hand, since heat from the main body 1 of cooking instrument is converged to the heat collector 2 interposed between the object to be cooked and the main body 1 of cooking instrument because of conduction, the temperature of the heat collector 2 gets higher than the temperature at the main body 1 of cooking instrument, and the object to be cooked in contact with the heat collector 2 is grilled until its contact surface gets burned.
