Abstract

PURPOSE: To make adhesion perfect and to simplify the production process of a liquid container by fitting simulaneously with molding, a cover portion having a synthetic resin nozzle portion to the opening portion of a container main body made of paper board coated with a thermoplastic resin.
CONSTITUTION: A sheet of paper board coated with a thermoplastic resin is folded along folding lines between side walls 1, 2, 3, and 4 and a pasted strip 5, assembled, and adhered to form a container main body III. A manbrel 10 which has roughly the same cross-sectional area as the main body III and has a tip end in the same shape as the inside of a cover portion IV to be formed, is inserted in the main body III from the side of a bottom portion II in such a manner that the tip end of the mandrel 10 projects from the tip end portion of a trunk portion I. In this constitution, the mandrel 10 is inserted into a fromer 11 for the cover portion IV, and a synthetic resin such as polyethylene is injected into the former 11 to mold the cover portion IV by injection molding or the like; simultaneously, the cover portion IV is adhered to the main body III through utilization of the heat upon the molding of the portion IV. Then, the bottom portion II is formed, to obtain a liquid container.
