Abstract

PURPOSE:To fold back said opening part and form a folded back edge part, by cutting off the upper part of the thermoplastic plastics hollow body obtained by blow molding at a horizontal plane, forming a container body and fitting the opening part of said container body into a U shape groove ring of a heater plate and pressing. CONSTITUTION:A container body 1a is made by cutting off the hollow body R formed by blow molding at a horizontal plane X part. Then, the container body 1a is pressed to a heater plate 12 having a groove ring 13 of U shape cross section of which the inner peripheral part 13a can fit within an opening part 2a of the container body 1a, so as said inner peripheral part 13a fits within the opening part 2a, said opening part 2a is folded back outward, being heated by the heater plate 12 and a folded back edge part 2 is formed at the opening end of the container body 1a. By this, the folded back edge part can be formed readily.
