Abstract

PURPOSE: To simultaneously perform adjustment of exposure and the adjustment of uneven illuminance in the slit direction relating to cos4 law or the like by moving the aperture device nearly in the normal direction of a reflecting mirror and changing the removal amount of outer side luminous fluxes.
CONSTITUTION: The slit-form luminous flux from the original placed still on an original platen 1 is reflected by scanning mirrors 2, 3 and enters an imaging lens 4, thence it is projected onto a photoreceptor 7 by reflecting mirrors 5, 6. The mirrors 2, 3 move parallel to the platen 1 and the scanning speed of the mirror 2 is twice that of the mirror 3. The optical path length from the original up to the stationary lens 4 is maintained always constant and the image is formed without any magnification change always during scanning and is projected. Blades 8, 9 are integrated by an axis 10 so as to encircle the mirror 6. The removal amount of the outer side luminous fluxes 11, 12 is changed by moving the aperture device nearly in the normal direction of the reflecting mirror 6, whereby exposure adjustment is accomplished.
