Abstract

PURPOSE:To minimize consumption power without deteriorating suction pressure by keeping a suction line pressure constant, for which a sellector functioning for giving opening signals to a suction capacity control mechanism is provided. CONSTITUTION:Where pressure of a suction line 6 drops to a normal value, a suction pressure regulator 14 is actuated to work for closing an opening of a suction capacity control mechanism 3. A selector 15 gives priority to a signal to work for closing the opening of the suction capacity control mechanism 3, therefore the suction capacity control mechanism 3 will not open in excess of that through which pressure of the suction line 6 keeps the normal value. A gas is then fed to a compressor 1 full thereafter, and the suction capacity control mechanism 3 is opened full by the signal of a discharge pressure regulator 2 in accordance as the pressure of the suction line 6 rises. The same control is thus repeated.
