Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the heat transfer to the yoke by injecting fillers into the space at the void side between the field core and the field winding, fitting the field core to the yoke, and then impregnating varnish to the whole in order to fill up the space between the field winding and the yoke.
CONSTITUTION: A field winding 1 is fitted to a field core 5 through fillers 4 and a space at the void side between the field core 5 and the field winding 1 is filled up with fillers 9 such as epoxy compound which is cured subsequently. After that, the field core 5 is fitted to a yoke 6 with use of a bolt 8 through fillters 7 as thin as possible, and varnish such as eqoxy resin is impregnated in vacuum to the whole and then cured. In such a way, the heat generated at the field winding 1 can be transferred to the yoke 6 efficiently because there is no space between the yoke 6 and the field winding 1 and the layer of the fillers 7 is thin.
