Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify a structure, by locating a water feed tank, an upper water bath, a water feed hose, a lower water bath, and a condenser in an air conditioner body so that a water feeding tank can be taken in and out in a vertical direction.
CONSTITUTION: A water feed tank 12, a upper water bath 5, a water feed hose 11, a lower water bath 2, and a condenser 17 are situated in an air conditioner proper 1. Water in the lower water bath 2 is sprinkled over the evaporative condenser 17 by means of a pump 15 and a sprinkler 16, cooling, thus, taking place. As a result of water in the lower water bath 2 being used, a connection rod 9 is pulled down through the working of a spring 4 and a fulcrum 3, the upper water bath 5 being rotated downward centering around a fulcrum 6. Thus, water in the upper water bath 5 is fed to the lower water bath 2 through an hose 11. Since the water feed tank 12 is positioned above the upper water bath 5, it can be taken in and out by being moved upward. By taking in and out the water feed tank in the manner described above, eliminating the need for auxiliary mechanisms, such as hinges, rails, and so forth is enabled.
